A pristine white dress made from an old Egyptian cotton sheet from a local charity shop. Accumulating stains and other marks from my environment, in a real glimpse of life in the contemporary Highlands of Scotland. My life, at least.
All marks have to be made while I'm wearing the dress, or accidentally. I will be trying to be careless with the dress, and also allowing myself to be expressive in the moment, to accumulate all the wear and tear. Any elements used to stain it will be out in the environment where I found them, where I was living my life. Not necessarily seeking messy situations to wear my dress in.
